Find Competitions That Match Your Repertoire

Add the pieces you know, set your age and travel preferences, and we'll show you which competitions you're ready for.

What Guitar Events is

Guitar Events is an independently curated directory of the classical-guitar world's competitions, festivals and summer courses. Every listing is compiled from the organiser's own official site and refreshed automatically, so deadlines, prize money, entry fees, age limits and repertoire requirements appear in one consistent format instead of twenty different organiser websites.

The finder on this page works from your repertoire: enter the pieces you play and it shows which competitions' round requirements you already satisfy, and which events are within reach with one or two additions. No account is needed — everything runs in your browser.

You can also browse the full directory of competitions and festivals, plan a season around the calendar and map, compare summer schools and courses, or dig into the repertoire database and its composer index — more than ten thousand pieces with recordings, durations and score links. For the bigger events, the guitarist's travel guides cover getting there, what you'll hear and where to stay.

New editions, as they're announced

One email a month on new and upcoming guitar competitions, festivals and courses. No more checking twenty organiser websites. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.
