- Adult guitarists of all nationalities, registered on the Classical Guitar Forum, can take part in the competition. Guitarists who have already won a prize in the International Guitar Competition are not eligible to enter a second time.

Repertoire requirements
The 3 compulsory pieces are by Jean-François Delcamp: Prélude n°1 opus 4 (eliminatory); Tango en la mineur opus 3 (semi-final); Isabelle opus 23 (final). Only recordings made from the editions indicated are accepted.
