Repertoire requirements

First round (preliminary - ONLINE*): A program of 12-15 minutes in total, chosen by the candidate. *The video must be uploaded to the candidate's YouTube channel, and the link provided upon registration (see Article 1). The recording, under penalty of disqualification, must meet the following requirements: it must be made with adequate audio/video quality, live, without interruptions or post-production, and the frame must include the performer and the guitar entirely. The A4 sheet attached to this announcement must be printed and displayed prominently during the performance.Second round (semifinal): a) One piece by Emilio Pujol, to be chosen from: Cubana (Ed. Celesta Publishing) Romanza (Ed. Biblioteca Fortea). b) A program lasting 12-15 minutes, including a 16th-century piece for lute or vihuela of the candidate's choice.Third round (final): a) One piece by Emilio Pujol, to be chosen from: Endecha a la amada ausente (Ed. Max Eschig); El tres tambors (ed. Ricordi); b) A program of the candidate's choice, lasting 25-30 minutes, including at least one piece from the 19th century and at least one from the 20th or 21st century.The Pujol pieces listed above (excluding Cubana and Romanza) are included in the collection "The Best of Emilio Pujol" (ed. Max Eschig, cod. DF 16030, revised by Frédéric Zigante).Contestants will not be allowed to play the same piece twice. Before each test, candidates must submit the printed text of their chosen program to the jury.
